初開催であった2013年のアドテック九州において、最も注目を集めたキーノートに登壇した堀江貴文氏は日本のインターネット産業において大きな影響力をもってきた。
初開催のイベントとして、そして九州におけるイベントとして、前代未聞の来場者数3,500超えを達成し、国際カンファレンスとしての規模を九州が世界に誇ることができた。
昨年はのテーマは「テレビのウェブ化」について。ウェブの動画サイトが人気を集める中、民放テレビ局は会員制にして質の高い番組作りを行うべきと提言した。
さて、今年のテーマは「ビットコイン」。国家に管理されない世界通貨の仕組みが、どのような変革をもたらすのだろうか。国内ビットコイン市場の新興キーマン達に問う。

At the launch of ad:tech kyushu in 2013, the keynote by Takafumi Horie drew the most attention of audiences. The event was the largest of its kind with over 3400 attendees.
The topic last year was focused on ""TV on Web” which Horie suggested the introduction of paid subscription model with quality content. This years focus is “Bitcoin” and its new current.
